1. Who we are

BPO and Beyond (“we”) runs bpoandbeyond.com and the learning portal at portal.bpoandbeyond.com. We decide how the information described here is used, and we are responsible for protecting it.

Address: Plainview, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines
Data Protection Officer: Marvin Astudillo, privacy@bpoandbeyond.com

2. What we collect

WhenWhat
You create a portal accountNickname, email, password (stored scrambled; we can’t read it), and optionally your company, role and gender. “Prefer not to say” is always an option.
You pay for a programFull name, email, mobile number, optional company, the payment method you used, your reference number, and the receipt screenshot you upload.
You use the portalPrograms you joined, materials you marked done, and when you signed in.
You join a live sessionYour answers, stored without your name (see section 5). If a session needs sign-in, a one-way code that only stops double voting.
You sign up for updates or fill in a formName, email and what you asked about.
You visit the siteBasic technical data your browser sends, such as IP address and browser type, kept in server logs for security.

We never ask for your card number, bank PIN or one-time password (OTP). If anyone asks for these in our name, it isn’t us.

3. Why we use it

  • To run your account and programs: sign-in, opening the materials and live sessions you’ve paid for or joined, and saving your progress. (Basis: our agreement with you.)
  • To confirm payments: matching your receipt and code to the money we received, emailing your confirmation, and keeping records for tax and accounting. (Basis: our agreement with you, and legal obligations.)
  • To send service emails: sign-in links, payment codes, confirmations, batch schedules and changes to a program you joined. These aren’t marketing; you get them while you’re in a program.
  • To send updates and money tips: only if you ticked the box. (Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw anytime.)
  • To improve our training: group results only, such as how many people in a batch picked an answer. Never tied to you.
  • To keep the site safe: blocking repeated wrong passwords and spam sign-ups.

4. What stays on your device

The money calculators (Cash Flow, Net Worth, Runway, Debt Health, Retirement, Risk Profile, Passive Income Goal) save your numbers in your own browser, on the phone, tablet or computer you use. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or tapping “Clear my numbers from this device”, deletes them. A different device starts fresh.

In live sessions you can choose to share a rounded result with the room. That share is anonymous, like any other session answer.

5. Anonymous session answers

Answers in live and self-paced sessions are stored without your name or email. They may carry broad group tags you chose (company, role, gender) so we can show results by group, and only when enough people are in a group. Your trainer and other participants see group results only. The portal learns only that you finished a self-paced presentation, never what you answered.

6. Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We share it only with services that help us run BPO and Beyond, and only what each one needs:

ServiceWhat for
HostingerHosts the website, the portal and its database, including receipt screenshots.
MoosendSends program updates and, if you said yes, newsletters and money tips. Gets your name, email, the programs you joined and whether you said yes to updates.

GCash, BPI, BDO, PayPalYou pay them directly. They handle your payment under their own privacy policies; we only see what appears on your receipt and in our account.
Your company, for company-sponsored batchesGroup results and attendance counts only. Never your individual answers or calculator numbers.

Some of these services store data outside the Philippines. We use providers that protect data to a standard comparable to the Data Privacy Act.

7. How long we keep it

8. How we protect it

The site uses an encrypted connection (https). Passwords are stored scrambled. Receipt screenshots are kept in a private folder, outside the public media library, and only our admins can open them. Only people who need access to do their job have it. If a breach is likely to harm you, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of finding out.

9. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you can:

  • Be told how your information is used (this notice).
  • Get a copy of your information.
  • Correct anything that’s wrong. Most of it you can edit yourself under Account in the portal.
  • Object to, or withdraw consent for, marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link.
  • Ask us to delete or block your information, except records the law requires us to keep.
  • Get your information in a common format you can move elsewhere.
  • Claim damages if you’re harmed by wrongful use of your information.
  • Complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) if you’re not happy with how we handled a request.

Write to privacy@bpoandbeyond.com. We reply within 15 working days, and may ask you to confirm it’s really you first.

10. Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work: keeping you signed in and protecting forms from misuse. The calculators use your browser’s own storage (section 4). We don’t use advertising cookies.

11. Age

Our programs are for adults 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has given us information, write to us and we’ll delete it.

If we change this notice in a way that matters, we’ll email account holders and show the new effective date at the top. Questions: privacy@bpoandbeyond.com.
